Becoming a member of the play.brussels cluster means joining a dynamic and innovative ecosystem that boosts collaboration between Brussels-based companies in the audiovisual sector. On this page, you can find all the information and conditions you need to join the cluster.

5.2.2 Who can become a member?
- Start-ups
- Small and large companies
- Entrepreneurs
The activity must be in production, service provision or broadcasting of audiovisual content in one of the following sectors:
- Cinéma
- Video games
- Broadcast/Streaming
- VR/AR/XR
- Advertising & Corporate
- Audio creation (podcast, etc.)
- Digital creation (webvideo, streaming)
To join the play.brussels network as a full member, companies must meet the following requirements:
- have a VAT number and a registered office or place of business in the Brussels-Capital Region;
- have activities that fall under one of the categories above;
- integrate meaningfully into the network of members that make up the cluster (in terms of sector, maturity, number of jobs, innovation, etc.).
In addition, companies that want to join the cluster must also meet the involvement criteria:
- they are involved in the life of the cluster for a minimum of 2 significant activities per year (or 4 smaller-scale activities);
- they collaborate with other cluster members through knowledge sharing or working groups;
- they respond to surveys, provide data and offer valuable content for the development of communication tools, etc.;
- they take part in sector-wide discussions on the issues of innovation (technologies, formats, governance) and social or environmental sustainability.
Membership of the cluster is free.

Procedure
Request an appointment
Contact us to arrange an appointment and present your company. We will send you an application form to complete to give us a better understanding of your activities.
Validation by a Selection Committee
After submission of your application, a Selection Committee (comprised of representatives of the Board and one person from the cluster management team), will analyse your application in accordance with the cluster’s membership criteria.
Signing of the collaboration charter
Once your membership has been validated, you sign a collaboration charter, which gives you priority or exclusive access to all our events, our collective and/or individual coaching service and to collaborative projects.
