Your business is in difficulty: practical solutions with hub.brussels

Faced with economic challenges, many Brussels businesses may find themselves in a fragile situation. Late payments, a decline in activity or turnover, tensions with creditors… These warning signs should not be ignored. Fortunately, solutions do exist, and hub.brussels can guide you towards a range of free, confidential and personalised services available to entrepreneurs.

Support as soon as the first warning signs hit

The hub.info information service, managed by hub.brussels, is the gateway to all available assistance. By telephone, email or in person, advisers guide entrepreneurs towards the solutions best suited to their situation.

In certain cases, hub.brussels can also provide a bank credit mediation service, helping to re-establish dialogue with banks and credit institutions in the event of repayment difficulties. This service aims to promote amicable agreements and avoid legal proceedings.

Specialised partners and programs

hub.brussels can also refer entrepreneurs to programs tailored to their specific issues. For example:

  • Oasis, a program run by Réseau Entreprendre, offers strategic support with diagnosis of business problems (conflicts, burnout, cash flow, etc.), moral support, group activities and three months of coaching to help entrepreneurs overcome their difficulties or consider winding up their business.
  • Reload Yourself, an initiative of JobYourself, is a cooperative that supports entrepreneurs wishing to take over an existing business (business assets, small business) or relaunch a struggling business, with support for up to 24 months.
  • 7 Jours Santé, created by the non-profit organisation Question Santé, aims to integrate health as an essential asset of the business. This prevention and well-being program for entrepreneurs focuses on mental, physical and organisational health.
  • CED Relance, supported by the Brussels-Capital Region and hosted by BECI, offers free and confidential support, including the judicial reorganisation procedure (PRJ). This procedure provides temporary protection against creditor actions and allows the business to be restructured.
  • Revival by Pulse Foundation is a free, personalised support service for entrepreneurs who have experienced bankruptcy or business closure, combining individual coaching, professional mentoring and group workshops to promote personal and entrepreneurial recovery.
  • If you are experiencing psychological distress, please note that all self-employed people in Brussels are entitled to four completely free psychological counselling sessions through the non-profit organisation Un pass dans l’impasse (0800/300.25).

An extensive support network

Thanks to its hub.info platform, hub.brussels centralises useful information and puts entrepreneurs in touch with legal, accounting and strategic experts. Workshops, events and newsletters complement this support to promote recovery.

Entrepreneurship is also about knowing how to bounce back.
