Description
The Royal Film Archive of Belgium, now CINEMATEK, was founded in 1938. It is a Public Utility Foundation and a bi-communal institution. The Film Archive aims to collect and preserve a collection of films of enduring aesthetic, technical and historical interest, to gather as much documentation about cinema as possible and to provide access to these films and documents for aesthetic and scientific purposes.
