The Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg in the spotlight!
The Venice Production Bridge (VPB) is an essential platform for film, audiovisual and virtual reality professionals. By taking part in the VPB, producers and creators from the region can showcase their projects to an international audience, establish valuable contacts and explore new funding and co-production opportunities.
This year, the Wallonia-Brussels Federation, which is being honoured jointly with Luxembourg, will benefit from increased visibility, highlighting the energy and innovation of its film industry. Regional talent will have the opportunity to take part in events such as the Venice Gap-Financing Market and Final Cut, as well as presenting immersive and XR/VR projects at the Venice Immersive Market. This participation, supported by our partners at WBImages and the Film Fund Luxembourg, strengthens the Federation’s international presence and highlights its commitment to the future of cinema and new technologies.
The play.brussels cluster team, accompanied by our colleagues from the Agency for Entrepreneurship hub.brussels, will also be present at the Venice Production Bridge, providing our expertise and network to support professionals from the Brussels audiovisual industry. To promote our regional companies, play.brussels will facilitate exchanges between producers and international players in the sector through themed panels and networking events.
